Aftercare Information

What You Can Initially Expect: 

-Tenderness, localized swelling, and occasionally bruising around the area 

** Swelling can last anywhere from 1-3 weeks depending on the piercing **

-Some Bleeding, Itching and tightness around the area

** Your piercing feels tight because it is swollen, when the swelling subsides your ring will move freely, avoid twisting, pulling or pushing the ring in anyway unless you are cleaning the area**

How Long Will This Take to Heal?

- Nose, Naval, Surface Tragus, Basic lobes, Upper Lobes, Tragus, Labret/Lip, 

Helix, Most Surface bars and Genitals take 2-3 months to heal and after 6 weeks they are usually safe to change

-Nipples, Industrial bars, Inner  Ear and Stubborn Cartilage can take 9 months to a year to fully heal and after 8 weeks they are usually safe to change 

-Oral Piercings take about 1-2 months to heal  and are usually safe to change after 2-3 weeks 

How Often Should I be Cleaning my Piercing?

With clean washed hands you should be cleaning your piercing 3-4 times a day. It's important to only touch your piercing while you are cleaning it. There is no need to move, rotate, or remove your jewelry during the healing process. You Should NEVER remove a new piercing while its in the healing stage as it will close almost immediately! Clean around your post thoroughly making sure no crust or residue is left on the bar. Its best to use a piercing aftercare spray to keep your piercing clean; We carry our own brand in shop and here online for purchase!

Initial Jewelry 

You currently have a healing post in your piercing! This post is either 316L Surgical Steel or titanium and is long enough to allow your skin to swell. Please remember swelling is not always visible as the body heals from the inside out! Your healing post should stay in for about 6-8 weeks. Once your change time has come it will be safe to downsize or change your jewelry
